A Bellwise licence key, bought here or given out by 2 Buns LLC, downloads the card image for the Raspberry Pi. Then the card is written and the box is set up below.

SHA-256 to check
Setting up the box
- Check the download. Its SHA-256 must match the one above exactly: on Windows
certutil -hashfile FILE SHA256, on a Mac or Linuxshasum -a 256 FILE. - Write the card with Raspberry Pi Imager: pick the device, then Use custom under the operating system and the downloaded file. Skip Imager's OS customisation; this image has its own setup.
- Power it on. With an Ethernet cable to the router it is online at once; skip to step 5.
- Without a cable, after about a minute it opens an open Wi-Fi called
TradeTracker-Setup-XXXX. Join it on a phone; the phone shows "Sign in to network" (or openhttp://10.42.0.1). Set the PIN, then pick the home Wi-Fi, type its password and the country, and tap Join. The hotspot closes while the box joins; put the phone back on the home Wi-Fi. A wrong password brings the hotspot back within a minute, with the reason on the page. - Open
http://tradetracker.local/settingson a phone or PC on the home network. The Settings page walks through the required items (Schwab, the schedule, the Anthropic key, the agreement) one at a time. - Activate the key: on the same Settings page, under Updates, paste the key into Licence key and press Activate. Updates then arrive overnight, or with Check now.
